    Google announced yesterday that it will integrate comScore in its ad-technology. This integration will give the brands an opportunities for both publishers and advertisers to monitor if their campaign is reaching out to the right TG.

    The integration will give marketers a chance to look into some real-time optimisation, which can help them analyse and look at making the necessary changes.

  • News : Flipkart Co-founder says ‘ India’s E-commerce market to reach $70 bn by 2020

    India’s e-commerce business has jumped more than 80% since 2013, says Flipkart. It’s CEO and co-founder Sachin Bansal predicts that the e-commerce business in India is expected to reach around $50-$70 bn by 2020.

    According to a join report by KPMG and IMAI India’s e-commerce market in 2013 was about $13 bn. Mr. Bansal has predicted that :

    1.     Smart phones will be the biggest sales drivers for the coming years
    2.     More than half a billion Indians will switch to smart phones in the next five to six years

    1.     Total online sales across the globe has reached $1.22 trillion
    2.     Only about 12% Indian population is into online shopping in India, compared to almost 65% in the US

  • News : Twitter’s mobile business has hit 184M users

    While Twitters market growth might have been on a slower growth, its mobile user number is still growing strong. Twitter has shared that for Q4 their monthly mobile users have risen by 37% i.e. 184M users.

    The overall user number stands to 241M, this implies that the mobile usage adds up to 75% of its overall users. Interestingly its mobile app growth has been faster , while the overall growth has been only 30% . The user ratio is also reflected on the revenue generation, with Twitter declaring that the mobile ads, makes up to 75% of the of its sales. By that, $165M of the $220M from the revenue.
